Home Ventilation

Condensation, mould, mildew and dust mites are prevalent in many New Zealand homes, which is one of the reasons we have one of the highest rates of asthma and other respiratory illnesses in the world.
Fresh air is essential for a healthy exosietnce and a healthy home. A poorly ventilated home can cause all sorts of problems; condensation on windows, mould on the walls, stale air and odours from cooking and smoking, moisture build up from everyday activities like showering and drying clothes.
And even more importantly; pollens, air-borne bacteria, toxic gases and harmful dust caused by the condensation and mildew can in turn cause many problems with the family's general health. Family members with conditions like asthma can be particularly susceptible to the slightest issues with stale air, air-borne allergens and moisture.
You should consider a home ventilation system if your home...
-
has condensation on the windows
-
has mildew on the walls
-
has musty and damp rooms
-
is hot and stuffy in summer, cold and damp in winter
-
has family members susceptible to sickness; babies and elderly people
-
has chronic health conditions; asthma and other breathing related issues
-
is sealed up during the day for security
-
has mosquitoes and flies when windows and doors are left open
